Golden Whiskers was founded and owned by Amanda Barnes. The idea behind Golden Whiskers is to provide quality pet care for people who need medical care for their pets while they are away.
Amanda Barnes- Founder and Owner
Amanda Barnes is a certified veterinary technician. She is a graduate of Bel-Rea Veterinary Technician Institute. She is a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Military Police. Amanda lives her true passion for animals: she currently has four dogs, four cats, a snake, and two chinchillas.
Golden Whiskers
Golden Whiskers was started, due to seeing a need for pets to be allowed to stay at home. After seeing so many of our beloved pets go into boarding and come out sick or stressed out began to have a toll on Amanda's heart. Golden Whiskers' goal is to allow pets to stay home and be comfortable is a stress free environment. Animals with medical needs are of most concern, but animals of all types of health age or breed are welcomed to Golden Whiskers' services.
